Seven Days of Creation | Florida Hospital for Women | Orlando, FL
Stretching 36’ along a front corridor lined with windows, this massive wall installation needed to have an inherent durability so the visitors could engage with the piece and the hospital would be able to clean the work thoroughly for infection control purposes. It is made from an assortment of woods, metals, acrylics, and fiberglass. Processes included multilayer printing and etched metals to add depth and dimension to the wall piece. The installation process took 1 week of assembly and attachment with the use of specially designed mechanisms to enhance the dimensionality even further. The results have been celebrated by the hospital and community that visits it.
